Trip Overview
This six-day adventure takes you from the colourful souks of Marrakech to the rocky summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m) — the tallest peak in North Africa. Blending high-altitude trekking with vibrant culture and jaw-dropping landscapes, this is a rewarding challenge for anyone with a sense of adventure and a love of the mountains.
No technical skills required — just a good level of fitness, a bit of grit, and a willingness to take on something epic.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Marrakech & Meet Your Group
Welcome to Morocco! After arriving in Marrakech, head to your hotel and settle in before meeting your fellow trekkers. You’ll have time to relax, explore nearby souks, or simply soak in the atmosphere before the journey begins.

Day 2
Explore Marrakech & Transfer to Imlil
This morning, take a guided tour through the heart of Marrakech. Wander the buzzing souks, visit famous landmarks like Jemaa el-Fnaa, and take in the rich history and energy of the Red City.
After lunch, it’s time to swap the city for the mountains. A scenic drive brings you to Imlil, a peaceful Berber village nestled deep in the High Atlas. Here, you’ll experience traditional mountain hospitality and prepare for the trek ahead.

Day 3
Trek to Toubkal Refuge (Base Camp)
After a mountain breakfast, your trek begins! You’ll hike from Imlil to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m) — base camp for the summit attempt. The trail winds through dramatic scenery, with panoramic views, mountain streams, and remote landscapes.
After around 5–6 hours of trekking, you’ll arrive at the refuge, where you’ll settle in, refuel, and rest ahead of the summit push.

Day 4
Summit Mount Toubkal (4,167m) & Descend to Imlil
Summit day! We’ll set off early to make our way up the final steep slopes of Mount Toubkal. As you reach the summit, you’ll be rewarded with 360° views across the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara far in the distance — an unforgettable moment.
After soaking it all in, we’ll descend back to the refuge for a hot meal, then continue down to Imlil for a well-earned rest.

Day 5
Relax in Imlil & Return to Marrakech
Today is all about recovery and celebration. Enjoy a relaxed morning in Imlil, surrounded by the peaceful rhythms of Berber village life. In the afternoon, transfer back to Marrakech for your final night.
Optional dinner with the group to toast your achievement!

Day 6
Departure or Continue Your Moroccan Adventure
Your Mount Toubkal adventure comes to an end today. After breakfast, transfer to the airport — or, if you’re not ready to leave, why not extend your trip and explore more of Morocco?
From the Sahara Desert to the beaches of Essaouira, the adventure doesn’t have to end here.
